General Business Operation Questions
When are you open?
A personalized Path is generally 10:00 to 5:00 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. And is 'by appointment only'.
Can I stop by and pick something up from the store?
Yes, you can swing by and pick something up from the store while we're open. If you opt for this, please have cash ready (exact change please) or be able to pay with Venmo. This will be the least disruptive to the client who has booked and is paying for testing time when you stop by.
What works even best, is if you can order what you need through the online store, then select the "Pick Up at the Office" option. We'll package your order, then you can just swing by and pick it up. :)
If you can get your order in before 8:45 on Monday-Wednesday, we'll have your order ready to pickup that morning. Otherwise, online orders will be ready to be picked up the next working day.
Please be advised, that the office is open only when we have appointments. There is no guarantee that we will be open every Monday-Wednesday. We may be closed for training, holidays, or vacation. Or simply leave early when we are done with appointments for the day.
How can I speak with Melissa?
Unfortunately, Melissa no longer has enough time to have phone consultations. If you would like to speak Melissa about a certain topic or to learn more about the IQS process, the best way to do this is to book an appointment and bring your list of questions. You'll talk and test at the same time. Win/win. You'll walk out the door with some questions answered, and you'll get a custom remedy at the same time.
I texted or emailed, when will I hear back?
Melissa attempts to reply to all messages Monday to Wednesday during extended business hours. But her time is very limited, appologies if she does not get back to you as quickly as she would like.
If you would like to book an appointment, please use the online booking tool.
If you're experiencing sudden unexpected adverse reactions, double check that you're taking your drops correctly (drop size, number of drops, etc.). If you're not overdosing on drops, please go to Urgent Care or see your doctor.
What do you do on Thursdays and Fridays?
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are reserved in their entirety for formulating, testing, and packaging new products to meet the critical and urgent needs of the times we live in.
The dedication of these three uninterrupted days towards formulating allows us to meet our goal: to help people heal so they can achieve, accomplish, and fullfill the tasks they need to do while on this earth.
Melissa will rarely reply to messages on these days, and never on a Sunday.
Strategies for Drop Taking
How do I pick my next remedy?
A Personalized Path is a strong believer in intuition. Either use your intuition or muscle test for an answer. Both are a skill to be developed, and situations like this are a perfect way to develop those skills.
First: clear your mind of fear, worry, and intruding thoughts. Center yourself, and align yourself to the kind of truth you want to get. Most people align themselves to a higher power or the Universe and ask for their answers to correspond 100% with truth according to that source of truth.
Then ask (trusting that you will only answer in accordance to the truth you aligned yourself to) the following questions:
1) For my current health and condition will an off-the-shelf-remedy get to the root of what is going on?
If yes: move to #2. If no, then ask if a Custom Remedy or Proxy Test will get to the root of the issue.
2) To address the root of this issue, kick it to the curb, and to have a cascading healing effect in my body is the remedy a Specific Drop or a SmarterDrop?
If yes, go down the list until you find the remedy to address the root of the concern you're wanting to address.
3) When you find the remedy, ask the question for your current health and condition, to get the 'Highest Value' out of that remedy, with the 'Least Amount of Stress' to you, and to knock out the issue at hand, how much you need to take.
You are looking for answers to the following:
- How many drops, squirts, or grams.
- How many times a day.
- For how many days?
- Then ask how far apart you need to take those sets of drops so that you don't stress yourself out by processing to fast.
- If you're testing for a general wellness drop, for which your current health and condition will constantly fluxuate, then ask yourself these questions daily morning and night. And change the question to how much do I need right now? (Drops and # of times, knowing that you'll take those drops immediately and test again either later in the day or the early the next morning.)
You might also ask the questions:
- Is this issue rooted in something that the Latest Thing, Clear-N-Site, or Big Stuff will knock out?
- Is this rooted in something that I need to shield away from my body, spirit, or home?
- What is the remedy for the most important issue or critical issue currently going on in my body and soul? (These two questions will often yield different remedies.) The most important does not mean the same as the most critical.
- Is this the most important order for me to work on things?
- Do I need a support remedy?
- Do I need any support supplements like vitamins or minerals?
If you don't have confidence in either muscle testing or your intuition, then use the services offered by A Personalized Path. We have options for a selection of off-the-shelf remedies as well as customized remedies that we can send you.
Is it okay to constantly take drops?
No, it's not okay. Not really.
The exception: a general wellness drop used and muscle tested for daily. Or a shield drop, but even the need for a shield remedy will cycle in and out as you build up strength and resiliance.
There is an ebb and flow to the healing process. Sometimes you need a lift and a push, and other times you need a rest to process, find equilibrium, and get ready for the next healing push.
There are times when a person will choose to be on back to back custom remedies, and can even have them layered on top of each other, but this is unusual and will lead to burn-out where a person is unable to take drops for a time.
Please don't push yourself to heal faster than you are ready. Please give yourself time to settle and heal between drops. A remedy can and often will roll forward, continuing to heal for months and even years after you have taken it. Give yourself time. Find a rythmn and trust your intuition.
How many different remedies can I take at a time without causing processing problems?
Usually between 3-4 remedies at a time won't cause you problems. More than 5 at a time and you likely begin to experience issues, get overwhelmed, and stop taking your remedies all together.
Strategies for taking or picking more than one remedy at a time:
1) The focus or core remedy of your mix. This is the remedy that has been customized for you, or the long-term off-the-shelf remedy that you've picked to work on.
2) The second drop in your mix will be any suppport drops you've picked to help with main drop. (#1).
3) Lastly, you have general wellness drops that you take almost daily like Clear-N-Site, The Latest Thing, or Big Stuff. Or drops that build resiliance like Shield, Auric Posture, Etheric Command, or Spiritual Enlightenment.
4) You'll likely get yourself into trouble, if you take more than a couple 'get to the root of things' drops at the same time, like Grief, PTSD, Truth Bomb, and Bones.
Be patient, settle into a healing rythmn, then go forth and conquer life. :)
How many drops are in a bottle?
At A Personalized Path, when calculating the number of bottles for a rememdy, we use the following generalized numbers: 1500 drops for a 4oz bottle, 800 for a 2oz bottle, and 400 for a 1oz bottle.
The number of drops in a bottle are fluid, but on average, there are 1600-1800 drops in a 4 oz bottle. Many factors will affect a drop size: the angle in which you hold the dropper being the biggesst factor, the speed at which a dropper is squeezed being next. Also a factor, is the type and size of dropper being used.
Most clients find that dropping their remedy into a plastic spoon will lead to the most consistent drop size. When using this technique, make sure to never mix drops together (they'll wipe each other out).
How do I know when to arrange for my next custom remedy?
Great question, there is no set answer except to trust your intuision or muscle test the question.
Sometimes a person is able to start their next customized remedy (either through IQS testing or a "Custom Remedy') immediately upon finishing a remedy.
However, it is more common for people to be 'processing' for at least two to four weeks after finishing a remedy, sometimes processing can take months particularly if it was a humdinger of a remedy.
Clients report these intuitive feelings as getting done with their drops and feeling like, "Wow, I need a break , that was rough." That's a bodies way of saying, it needs time to sort out all the new stuff and get the new habits and structure nailed down before being ready to tackle the next thing.
When ready for the next round, a person may either have a pressing issue that keeps coming to mind, or they'll have a feeling settle into their heart or gut saying, "Okay, time for the next round."
Other people take a more orderly approach and come in once or twice a year to just check in to see what they want to work on next.
If you have a long-term, serious issue that you're working on, then at the end of your appointment while still using the testing equipment, ask a question to know when you want to come in and work on the next layer of the issue. Or how long you'll need to wait after you've finished the current remedy . before you work on the next layer.
Exceptions to this guidance:
1) If something new or urgent comes up while you're on a custom remedy, you can often get a second remedy without causing yourself problems. Examples: to stimiulate healthy healing of broken bones more quickly, or to troubleshoot a stobborn cold, or speed along healing from a serious cold or cough. (To save yourself money and get relief more quickly if appointments are all booked up, test yourself to see if Bones, Soft Tissue, Big Stuff, Clear-N-Site, or The Latest Thing will clear up any of those issues.)
2) If you have a long-term issue to address that's simply physical such as: food allergies, a spinal alignment, or hormonal balancing. These issues can often be worked on at the same time as other issues without causing processing problems or undue stress to a person.
If doubling up on custom remedies, please remind Melissa that you're already on a custom remedy so she can take that into account during the testing process so that it does not cook your goose.
Learning More
Where can I learn more about muscle testing?
There are many sources of great information on muscle testing just a quick google away.
Here are a few prompts on where to get started: try googling keywords such as chiropractic muscle testing, kinesiology, or manual muscle testing, or meridian interface testing.
Good luck on your learning journey, just remember to keep your questions appropriate and not use this tool for answers that are better answered by intuition or prayer. (Focus on your current health and condition, remedies, and nutrition.)
Where can I learn more about the type of technology used during the testing process?
Unfortunately, there is not much information online about the IQS (Interactive Query System) technology used during the testing process.
Some people refer to it as bio-meridian testing or bio-resonance testing. What it boils down to is using technology to help the body answer complex questions on health and to help pinpoint remedies that will positively affect the body during the healing process.
The physicist who developed the machine maintains a website at MyBioTrek.com geared toward institutions and technitions who are interested in buying the machine. Perhaps you may learn something there that may help you make a decision to book an appointment.
